WyoTech in Long Beach Hosts Fifth Annual Wounded Warrior Car Show

On Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, WyoTech’s Long Beach campus hosts the annual Wounded Warrior Car Show for the fifth consecutive year. The show benefits the Semper Fi Fund, which provides financial aid and quality-of-life solutions for injured troops and their families.

Check Out the Featured Customized 2012 Jeep Wrangler

A highly decorated Marine injured in combat, Sgt. James (Matt) Amos, will make the Jeep’s presentation.

If you’ve got a pre-1974 American car, truck or special-interest vehicle, preregister it and bring it on! By preregistering your vehicle, you’ll receive an event T-shirt and goody bag. Dash plaques and trophies will be awarded to vehicle category winners.

But hey, even if you don’t win a trophy or plaque-you’re a winner for showing up. It takes skill and lots of knowledge to customize a vehicle. And don’t forget the courage it takes to put it on display.

Spectators are admitted free and everyone who attends gets to enjoy music, raffles, food and more. For more information about the Semper Fi Fund and the Wounded Warrior Car Show, visit www.woundedwarriorcarshow.com.
