WyoTech Students at the Laramie Campus Join Forces to Make Laramie Sparkle

WyoTech students at the Laramie campus are serious about getting involved in community affairs. Braving chilly winds and temperatures under 40 degrees, the WyoTech students joined forces with more than 400 people for Laramie’s Spring Community Clean-up Day.
Participants included volunteers from local churches, Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, private clubs, the University of Wyoming and WyoTech in Laramie. The turnout was a success, surpassing last year’s efforts by 100 people.
The entire volunteer group managed to pick up 1,300 bags of garbage and placed them in dumpsters and city dump trucks that were taken to the city’s landfill.
The Laramie Beautification Committee, Laramie Economic Development Corporation and the city of Laramie sponsored this year’s Clean-up Day.
