More than 213 students from the WyoTech Blairsville campus attended and supported the quarterly Red Cross Blood Drive held this month. The goal of the school was 160 units of blood, but the goal was surpassed admirably by a lot of hard work and effort by the Blairsville team. 186 units was the final tally.
These type of events give WyoTech students an opportunity to work with the community and witness first-hand the impact of their positive actions. WyoTech Blairsville Student Services is dedicated to enriching students’ lives and the lives of the communities in which they serve.

Earth Day clean-up at WyoTech Blairsville was a success. Even though the day turned out to be wet cold and rainy, the students showed up in force to assist the local Blairsville Town Improvement Group and Community Development Authority. Projects ranged from river clean-up to town and park clean-ups for “green planning” throughout the community.
WyoTech Blairsville is highly dedicated to civic engagement throughout the community. The efforts and excellent work of the students made all the difference in getting the job done. The students have proven they can be an integral part of the community.
