Members of the newly formed WyoTech Student Veterans’ Organization participated in the local Veteran’s Day Parade held Wednesday in downtown Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
Approximately 30 of the 90 in-school Veterans marched in the annual parade with some student Veterans donning their uniform. Two uniformed students carried the new banner featuring the organization's name.
A ceremony followed the parade at the National Guard Armory (1909), located at 199 N. Walnut Street, followed by lunch at the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5821.
WyoTech-Blairsville Campus, located at 500 Innovation Drive, Blairsville PA, 15717, is one of six campuses located across the United States offering degree and diploma programs in the fields of automotive, diesel, collision refinishing, motorcycle, marine technology, as well as construction trades. In addition, WyoTech offers advanced training programs in applied service management; advanced diesel; light duty diesel; advanced automotive diagnostics; street rod and custom fabrication; motorsports chassis fabrication; high performance power trains; and trim and upholstery technology.
