WyoTech Laramie Pitches In to Help at the Snowy Range Music Festival
Placing a music festival in the heart of Laramie Wyoming under the "Snowy Range" turned out to be a good thing for Snowy Range Music Festival Organizer Carl Gustafason. Close to 30 bands were scheduled to perform beginning Saturday Afternoon, September 5, 2009.
The Community of Laramie was greatly supportive in making sure ticket sales hit the mark. WyoTech – Laramie helped organize parking for the event and making sure there was space for any overflow.
Gustafason started the project and thought the PAF's (people against fun) would show up in groves. Wrong! He was pleased and surprised at the overall support and admits the project couldn't possibly be a success without the help of such a willing community of people.
