Just wanted to give a round of applause to all those that attended this years March 27-29, 2009, spectacular O'Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals event in Houston, TX.
These events make a tremendous impression on the future students of WyoTech as well as members of the NHRA on tour.
Today's spotlight is on Bruno Massel who has received high praise in the NHRA community for his Cobalt, commonly referred to by competitors as "The Rocketship".
V8 engines are commonly used in NHRA competition. Massel's Cobalt is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder Chevy EcoTec Engine that's capable of pumping out over1300 horsepower.
Massel earned a victory in Brainerd Minnesota in 2008 as the first turbocharged car to win an NHRA race in the event's 26-year history.
