Finding a Career that Fits Takes More than Blind Luck

This might sound surprising, but at any given moment up to 88% of Americans don’t like the work they do.
In fact, people often feel a connection in sharing the hardships endured at the job on a daily basis. It’s unfortunate, but for most people, complaining about their lot in life becomes a daily habit they get comfortable with over time.
What if-is the million dollar question! What if you decided to really do something to get your life in gear. How would you go about it?
Here are a few action steps that can help place your life on the fast track:
Make a Personal Commitment
If you’re not committed to your own success to begin with, finding a career that fits is going to be a tough challenge. Make the commitment to get to know yourself. Determine what it is that you really want out of life.
The first obstacle is overcoming your own numbing beliefs of what you can or cannot accomplish. Believe in yourself and things start to happen!
Don’t Be Afraid to Seek Support
It helps a lot to have the support of those you trust and respect. They can help you stay focused and positive. When you have down-time, they can be the pillars of support that can help you get back on your feet.
