This is one of NHRA’s long-established events, and celebrating its 27th anniversary last season, it’s got a solid reputation as being one of the toughest events on the tour to win.
Let’s face it, with summer approaching, the temperatures in Atlanta are going to be hot- and the crew chiefs will be busy revving up their 190 mph Pro Stock Motorcycles to make the temperatures and excitement even hotter.
Diesel service technicians, are the guys and girls that repair and maintain the diesel engines that keep the nation’s power transportation equipment up-and-running. These are the folks that cut their teeth on such equipment as bulldozers, cranes, road graders, farm tractors, and combines.

Collision Refinishing Technicians are in demand! The field is challenging with a lot of potential. You’ll have a chance to weld, cut, align frames, and paint. Preparing cost estimates is also one of the skills you’ pick up.
Saturday, April 12, 2008, 10:00am-12:00pm, WyoTech, Fremont Campus features an open house where families, friends, and neighbors are invited to learn about WyoTech-the official technical school for the National Hot Rod Association.
Some fascinating things can happen when a championship NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle builder, an impressive array of sizzling hot bike parts, an impressive S&S powerplant and a handful of talented WyoTech students and graduates find themselves together in the same room.
Why, it’s the plumber we all know and love! Plumbers are a welcome sight to people who have leaky pipes or a sink that needs installing. These folks do a whole lot more than most of us can imagine. They do most of the dirty work on pipe systems from water treatment plants, to skyscrapers, to homes.
Marine watercraft repair and maintenance crews have the exciting job of working with boats, jet-skis, and a host of other vehicles that run on top or under water. Marine Technicians get to use tools and employ techniques that get the job done.
