WyoTech Partners with TMC (Technology & Maintenance Council) To Award Scholarship.

Brian G. Haines, Taneytown, Md., is the proud recipient of a truck technician scholarship for the 2008-2009 academic year provided by WyoTech, in partnership with TMC of American Trucking Associations.

Both TMC and WyoTech have their fingers on the pulse of where the country needs to be in the professional development of commercial vehicle technicians, and the scholarship is an ongoing effort to meet future industry demands.

Mr. Haines, is the fourth recipient of the TMC/WyoTech Diesel Truck Technician Scholarship. Graduating from Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge, Md., he earned a 4.3 GPA which included course work in advanced math and science.

The WyoTech full scholarship provides for 1500 clock hours (nine months) attendance to WyoTech's Laramie, Wyo., or Blairsville, Pa., campus. Mr. Haines’ application was sponsored by TMC member Jack Sukala, J. Jeb Products, Westville, N.J.

Mr. Haines has a bright future, and is well on his way to achieving some personal mile stones, even at this early stage in his career.
