Believe it or not, there are people who love working with their skills to create specialty automotive chassis' so much, they’d live in the cars they’re working on if they could! This is the kind of industry where people love getting up early and working hard all day long.
Of course, not everyone would go so far as to camp out in their car, but the men and women who work in motorsport chassis fabrication usually love what they do with a passion not found in a lot of other professions.
There's a lot to learn in the industry, and with the right training, upon successful graduation you’ll be qualified to seek entry-level employment in the industry as a welder, medal fabricator, specialty shop technician, race team technician, and an aftermarkets parts research and development technician to name a few.
Let's face it, you’re probably the type of person that loves using their hands to cut, arrange, and interlock metal car parts. A lot of the automobile process is automated, and this means today's chassis fabricators need to be able to learn new technologies quite fast. You get to apply your skills at the speed of technology!
And, while a fabricator should be a team player, they'll often fine themselves working on a specific vehicle part or performing a particular duty. You can file it all under a "day in the life".
It all sounds good, but it's up to you to make the move to find out more about the career tech school training that can qualify you to seek entry-level employment in the exciting and challenging field of Collision Refinishing-Motorsports Chassis Fabrication.
