Find a New Direction for Your Life

There's a lot of uncertainty in today's world, and moving ahead may require a different method of how we approach challenges.

First, it helps to understand that no challenge is without a sensible solution-we just have to find a way to arrive at a solution that makes sense. For example, let's say you're been under the hood of your car using a tool that just can’t quite seem to loosen that impossible bolt. More than likely, you've already gotten a few bruised knuckles in the process.

Sooner or later, it will begin to makes sense that the tool you've been using won't get the job done. This is when it should become perfectly clear that it might be the perfect time to reach for a new tool. Some people are in a "habit" of doing the same things over and over-and somehow expecting a different result.

The word habit originally meant "clothing". It might come as a surprise that the personality you've formed over a lifetime, is literally wearing your habits as if they were a piece of clothing! Your image of your self, and your habits are tied together. The solution isn't as difficult as it might at first seem.

If you change one-you will automatically change the others! By outgrowing your old habits, you can grow into something new and different. The change in your life doesn't have to happen right now, but you can begin to deliberately start exploring all the exciting options at your fingertips.

Grab a pen and a piece of paper—and take a few notes!

1. What is it that you have a desire to do or become right now?

2. Who are the people successfully doing the things you'd like to imitate?

3. Remember, you get back in life what you put in-sometimes a lot more.

4. Try doing things differently, even if it's brushing your teeth with the other hand. It's the little things that matter. You'll also get a feel for the excitement that doing things differently creates.

You need to realize that the world wants-- and needs you to step up to the plate. Whatever it is that you decide to do in life-Just do it!
