Eight million people visit Daytona Beach each year to enjoy a string of communities by the sea stretching 23 miles along the Atlantic Coast. The WyoTech campus in Daytona Beach is close to Intestate 95, and close to communities that offer affordable housing, entertainment, sports, and a multitude of outdoor activities.
White sand beaches are a major attraction for Daytona Beach, but there are many more reasons for visiting the Dayton area. Daytona is world famous for its motorcycle and auto racing at the Daytona International Speedway, and home of NASCAR and the Daytona 200 motorcycle race.
There are also a host of recreational activities to enjoy at Daytona Beach-and the nightlife is nothing short of lively and exciting. Although tourism is also a big draw for the famous city, its more than 65,000 inhabitants work in many professions and trades to keep the community thriving.
New Smyrna Beach has 13 miles of exciting beach fun, and is just 15 miles south of Daytona and WyoTech. If you're into surfing, you can catch some of the best waves on the East Coast. Orlando is the world-famous home of Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld and a host of other major attractions-all just 74 miles down the road from WyoTech Daytona.
Running out of things to do is virtually impossible. Daytona offers motorcycling, auto sports, go-karting, fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, surfing, parasailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, golfing, tennis, and an energizing night life.

If you have any concerns about where you'll reside if attending WyoTech Daytona, just rest assured the Student Services Department will help you locate affordable, safe, and well-maintained housing. The housing facilities aren’t on-site, and we're happy to assist and provide referrals to students in need of housing.
Many of ours students live in the Palm Coast and Ormond Beach communities while attending WyoTech. And, for selected housing sites, we offer transportation to and from school.
