Make Your Motorcycle Road Trip a Huge Success

The time has finally arrived, and you’re ready to go on that long-awaited road trip. If you're packing your motorcycle, it's wise to take some quality time to double check all the travel arrangements. Is your hotel room reserved? Do you have all the hot spots mapped out? Did you take a final look at your travel list?

MAKE SURE YOUR LIST INCLUDES THESE ITEMS:

1. Make a list of motorcycle repair shops on your route

The very last thing you want to worry about is your bike breaking down in the middle of nowhere. Keep a list in your wallet. You did remember to take your wallet didn't you?

2. Pack some snacks

Don't leave home without emergency good snacks, which include Granola bars, an assortment of candy bars, and maybe some trail mix. Pack all of these in a large sized sealing bag to insure the food stays fresh. You may want to even consider meals ready-to-eat.

3. Take a roadmap

A roadmap is essential. The last thing you want to do is get stuck on the road in the middle of no where without a clue as to where you are. No matter where your destination is, there should be a folding map available you can purchase. If you have a cell phone, consider using a cell phone with a broad band internet access.

There are other essentials you should take; like toilet paper, tooth brush, toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant, which can all be easily stored in the motorcycle luggage bag.

The main thing is to have fun on the adventure.
