Orange County Automotive Dealers Association Hosts 17th Annual Automotive Technology Competition, WyoTech Supports Efforts
On January 23rd, 2010, the Orange County Automotive Dealers Association (OCADA) will host its 17th annual automotive technology competition. WyoTech, a sponsor of the event, provides tech school career training for students looking to find entry-level employment in the fields of automotive and diesel technology, collision refinishing, motorcycle, marine specialist, residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical.

Virginia resident Meggan Thompson, a graduate of WyoTech Blairsville, is the selected winner of the school's Dream Award for 2009.

Snowy Range Music Festival
Placing a music festival in the heart of Laramie Wyoming under the "Snowy Range" turned out to be a good thing for Snowy Range Music Festival Organizer Carl Gustafason. Close to 30 bands were scheduled to perform beginning Saturday Afternoon, September 9, 2009.

WyoTech Students Strut Their Stuff and Restore Antique Fire Engine
Students at WyoTech Laramie are up to their old tricks again! This time, students from the schools Collision Refinishing Technology - Street Rod and Custom Fabrication program are working overtime and blasting off layers of paint to restore a Nott Steam engine purchased by the city of Laramie in 1908. The engine has been sitting in storage for the last 20 years -just waiting for a talented group of six individuals to come along to restore its former grandeur.
